With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Rebecca Newton Munday Conover, North Carolina , born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2018 at the age of 97.

She was predeceased by : her parent Andrew Hubert Newton; her husband Wade McRee Munday; her son Reginald Allen Munday; and her siblings, Charlotte Burgess and Paul Newton.

She is survived by : her parent Lulu Garmon Newton; her children, Darrell Mundy Sandy of New Market, TN and Jeannie Little Mike of Conover; her grandchildren, Steven Mundy Laura of New Market, TN, Josh Little Lauren of Hickory, Michelle Little Eric Rector of Conover, Sara Smallman Brian of New Market, TN, Olivia Little Trollinger Jamie of Hickory and Stefani Mundy of Knoxville; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Alan, Austin, Jacob, Anniston, David, Wes, Elizabeth, Ethan and Josie.
