USHIO CHOCOLATL is a chocolate factory located in the middle of mountain in Mukaishima-island, Onomichi, Hiroshima. It started on November 1st 2014 with the meeting of original members Shinya, Atsushi, and Yassan. We are continually on the move to spread good taste and fun. We use high quality fresh cacao beans purchased in a direct trade with foreign cacao farmers and do all the processes from processing to sales by ourselves. Our chocolate is made from only cacao and sugar. Enjoy our brain sparking chocolates. Simple is curious. Our chocolates are basically made with fresh cacao beans and sugar only. Simple chocolates without use of flavorings, butter and milk. Enjoy individualities of each origin of cacao like coffee, wine, and sake. Organic brown sugar from Brazil and "Wanibon-sugar" specially refined for our chocolates from agrochemical sugarcane are used in it. Our fun, with our hands. We do all the processes of making chocolate: importing, picking up, roasting, threshing, grinding, adding sugar, tempering, molding, solidifying, packaging, and selling. We make chocolates and put our fun in it much as possible while singing for unique tastes and packages. Fantastic trip for cacao beans. We are continuing efforts to build "direct trade" relations with farmers.
